Technology & safety
Technology you can see the point of
Equipment only matters if it changes your experience or your result. Everything at Vista earns its place by doing one of three things: making diagnosis more accurate, making treatment more comfortable, or making the outcome more predictable.

What we use and why
3D intraoral scanning
A wand-sized camera builds an exact 3D model of your teeth in minutes. No putty trays, no gagging, and the file can be re-used for aligners, crowns or retainers without rescanning.
Comfortable records, and a simulation of your result before you commit
Low-dose digital radiography
Digital sensors and OPG imaging use a fraction of the radiation of old film, with the image on screen instantly so we can point at exactly what we are seeing.
Less exposure, faster diagnosis, and you see the evidence yourself
Digital treatment planning
Tooth movement, implant positions and smile design are planned on screen before the first appointment, then reviewed with you side by side with your current smile.
Predictable outcomes and realistic timelines, agreed in advance
Digital smile design
Proposed shapes and proportions are designed around your lips and face, then trialled in your mouth as a temporary mock-up you can approve or change.
You approve the smile before anything permanent is done
Magnification & modern endodontics
Magnified vision, rotary instrumentation and apex locators make root canals faster, more accurate and usually possible in a single visit.
Fewer visits, less discomfort, higher long-term success
Hospital-grade sterilisation
Class B autoclave cycles with pouch sealing and cycle logs, surface disinfection between every patient, and single-use items opened in front of you.
Verifiable infection control, not just a claim on a wall
Sterilisation: our non-negotiables
You are welcome to ask to see our sterilisation area on any visit. We would rather show you than tell you.
- Instruments cleaned, pouched and autoclaved after every single patient
- Autoclave cycles logged and monitored with indicator strips
- Needles, blades, suction tips and gloves are single-use and opened in front of you
- Chair, light handles and work surfaces disinfected between patients
- Separate zones for dirty, clean and sterile instrument handling
- Biomedical waste segregated and disposed through an authorised agency
Comfort matters as much as kit
- Painless anaesthesia technique — topical gel first, slow delivery, and we wait until you are genuinely numb.
- Stop signal — raise your hand at any point and everything pauses. No exceptions.
- Nervous patients — longer first visits, step-by-step narration, and nothing done that you have not agreed to.
- Children — tell-show-do, short first appointments and no restraint, ever.
